Bing Lee are pleased to announce the Bing Lee LG Harbour Series in association with Epic Kayaks run by Harbour Racing Inc.
This new series is a flat-water follow on to the highly popular Ocean Series and launches on 23rd January with the first race from Balmoral beach. Other events will be held at Rose Bay, Northbridge, Cronulla and Pittwater.
The Harbour Series has been organised to encourage paddlers of all abilities onto the beautiful waters of Sydney Harbour to have fun, keep fit and race. Events are open to all craft including surf skis, ocean skis, sea kayaks, outriggers, plastics and stand up paddle boards. There are short course races at each event for novices and juniors and 16km events for those wanting to test their fitness and/or speed. Plus there will be some great prizes to be won!
- Sydney Harbour Challenge. The Harbour racing series kicks off with an event at Balmoral including a course passing Grotto Point and Middle Head.
- Cronulla Bay Challenge. This event will start in Gunnamatta Bay and go out across Port Hacking.
- Northbridge Challenge. This will start in Sailors Bay and run through to Bantry Bay
- Rose Bay Challenge Rose Bay to Watsons Bay run by Rose Bay Time Trial. Also a charity event, this course starts from picturesque Rose Bay to Watsons Bay.
- Pittwater Classic Commencing from Bayview and finishing at the Newport Arms.
